For this exercise I attempted to create a digital poster for a typeface. I chose Arial simply because there is a lot of information about it on the internet and it is a basic simple kind of typeface not requiring a detailed design to give it justice. For the first time I worked with grid lines to create a very precise composition. I used a type poster given to me as a reference for this project. I tried to recreate the image composition as closely as possible.
Success:
I learned how to apply grid lines. Started focusing on the details more which in the long run will help my projects looking more professional.
Fail:
I wish I had experimented with the design of the poster, made it look more interesting. The final image looks bland and empty.
